Welcome to Fraisthorpe Beach

Designated Bathing Beach, refreshments often available during the summer. Toilets open all year.

This long sandy beach is ideal for wind and kite surfers because the water is shallow a long way out. Also, this location receives more wind than many other sites along the same stretch of coast because the sand dunes are lower so they cast less of a wind shadow.

Car parking is available on private land. There is space for around 100 cars and parking is chargeable all year round, see information at the beach for further information and pricing.

Access to Fraisthorpe beach is via a privately owned car park. Access to the beach is uneven and often can be rocky with a bit of a drop off. This beach is not advisable for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility.

Care is recommended due to debris from sea defence and World War II structures.
