Thanks to artist [LippyArt](/url/lippyart/) for this fantastic review of the beach wheelchairs available at Bridlington.
There's plenty to do on the East Riding coast, regardless of your age or fitness
All aboard! During the summer season, our fantastic fleet of land trains carry visitors up and down the Bridlington promenades. Take the south train between South Cliff Holiday Park/ Bridlington Park and Ride to Bridlington Spa every 20 minutes, and take the north train between East Riding Leisure, stopping at Limekiln Lane, and Sewerby Hall and Gardens every 30 minutes. Use them as a fun way to get around town, or enjoy a relaxing return trip. There is space for one wheelchair or one pushchair in the end carriage.
The team are delighted to have an all electric land train running on Bridlington south promenade in support of the Park and Ride, lowering our emissions and reducing our carbon footprint

Using powered vehicles on land and sea can be great fun, but you must be respectful of other people in the area. There are certain places you can and can't launch boats, drive all terrain vehicles (including dirt bikes) or use power kites. Read more about where and when you can use your favourite powered vehicles in the East Riding.
Events are held at parks, open spaces and various other locations across the East Riding all year round
Want to organise a street party, gala or other type of event on council land? Make sure you obtain the council's permission first.
