There's plenty to do on the East Riding coast, regardless of your age or fitness
Stretching from Flamborough Head down to Withernsea, the East Riding coast is home to plenty of scenic coastal walks. Ranging from short simple routes, to challenging routes across the county, you can find a number of these routes on the Walking the Riding website.
The large rubber wheels are designed especially for outdoor use, making the beach easily accessible. Wheelchairs can be hired on a full-day basis and are located at the Coastal Services Office on Princess Mary Promenade. A cash deposit of £20 is required but there is no charge for the hire of the wheelchair.
To hire a beach wheelchair call our Coastal Services Office on (01262) 678255.

Using powered vehicles on land and sea can be great fun, but you must be respectful of other people in the area. There are certain places you can and can't launch boats, drive all terrain vehicles (including dirt bikes) or use power kites. Read more about where and when you can use your favourite powered vehicles in the East Riding.
Events are held at parks, open spaces and various other locations across the East Riding all year round
